    Default Lucky Escape ? ....

Managed to knock the passenger mirror earlier today whilst driving along a road .... the glass popped out and I thought ... Oh No !, this is going to be expensive .

I dreaded the walk around my car to see the damage.

I simply re-positioned the mirror glass onto its fixing lugs and popped the mirror housing back in line .... got in the car, the electric controls still worked.

Had a bit of a scuff on the mirror paintwork ... bought a tube of T-Cut scratch remover for £3.99 and it removed all the scuff, the mirror looks unscathed from the impact

No damage to any other cars either !
