    Default High pressure pump failed

yep my dead car has got pump failure cost to repair £1400 + VAT now the car has only done 22K miles & is 2 months outta 3 yr warranty do you think VX should pay all of the repair costs as it seems a common fault according to the dealer surely pump should do 200K miles & last for more than 3 years

Should do but if they find any sign of tuning then they'll say no.

I would expect them to pay at least 80% towards the costs, The dealer's service manager should help you with this
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

If they're looking at footing a £1400 bill, they'll look for it, that's for sure.
