    Default Nikon D50 + Lens

    Mornin'

I'm upgrading my dSLR so going to get rid of my Nikon D50. I'll send it with the supplied 15-70mm lense and all the stuff you get in the box.. Neccesary CD/wires/charge etc.

It's in perfect condition, it's had a lot of use but never been dropped or misused. Fantastic camera to use.

Not sure on price to be honest, I'll have a look around and see what they're going for on FleeceBay.

But would anyone from here be interested?

    Regards,
    Sawyer

This film camera was Nikons first all push button job, since then there has not been another one. I think that this is a top notch little camera that producec clear sharp results with a host of built in functions, unfortunatly it is worth nearly zero on the second hand market. I tried to sell mine on flebay with no takers and if you look on there you will see them up for stupid prices. I retained mine to use in rough conditions where I would not tke my digital Nikon rather than give it away. Good luck if you deceide to try to sell it.

The D50 is a Digital SLR, not a film camera. Body only can fetch between £100 - £170 on ebay, so sticking the lense in should see £200+

    Good luck with the sale

Hell!!! sorry about the Film / Digital mix up but when you get to my ripe old age the eyes start to go, and the ears, legs, teeth and not to mention the other thing.

D50 is indeed a great camera. I bought the D70s and to be honest, although the D70s is a far better camera, I think I would of gone for the D50 if it was out at the time I bought the D70s.

You should get some decent wedge for it, possibly a bit more than £200, but beware on ebay as there are professional outfits that look to buy 2nd hand Nikon, but don't want to pay good money for it.

What is the lens that you've got for it, as this is the value item more than the body.

EDIT: Sorry, just read the 15-70. I'm assuming this is the DX lens? Good lens that, however, they don't fetch to much 2nd hand. So I'm saying around £200-250, maybe more. It's worth more, but with so many cameras out there and many newer models, it's hard to get the money you want.
