    Default ECC Reset??

Does anyone know of a reset function for the ECC aircon control??

On my Omega you pressed the OFF and AUTO and held them for 10seconds and that reset the system and flaps.

Is there a similar function on the Vectra? The split temp function dosn't seem to work on mine even though the display has different temps for Driver/Passenger. If you lower or raise either the fans on both sides increase.

Press the passanger side heater control knob, this then allows you to have dual zone again....press the drivers side heater knob and it puts it back into a common area heating setting. I found this out by accident

I thought there was only the one fan, and it was only the temperature that varied. Thats how it seems to work on my 2006 Elite.

Depends on the temperature difference - in my handbook it says never to have more then 2 deg difference between the driver and passenger, but the ECC will do much more than that.

The other night I had Sam in the car, she was cold (because she's a woman) and I was melting (because it was red hot outside ). My side on 18 deg, hers on 24 deg, and it worked fine, ice cold air from the vents on my side and nasty lukewarm air from the vents on her side.

The fan speed seemd to be the same, just different temperatures.
