Pollen Filter

i've been getting a smell from the fans when the aircon is not on so i thought i'd change the filter so i looked an seen somewhere i needed 2 a pollen an a carbon so i bought both but i dont know where the carbon one goes?? i put the pollen one in the slot under the winderscreen righthand side where the dirty one came from now does anyone know where the carbon one goes its the exact same size i think you can have either an i bought both
any one know?

i have with the pollen one as i said does anyone know if it needs the other. Is there a difference like for aircon systems you have a carbon one and just a normal pollen for all

Yes, the carbon one will reduce smell better than the paper element that really only filter particles
