    Default anyone with adrian flux?

i rang them today to see if it'd effect my policy if i changed the exhaust.
they basically told me that if it adds any power then they won't allow it.

    it's a 1.9 diesel and i'm 28 so that can't be the problem.

i thought flux where modified car specialists !

they said i could tint the windows for no extra increase in premium as it wasn't a performance mod.
    weird.

so the question is, has anyone else had problems with them?

i used to have the vec b gsi with a lot of mods all declared and they didn't have a problem.
i might just have to chase it up with them and see why.

    it's confused me.

other side of it is there's only 3 months left on the policy and i'll just jump to someone else.

I'm a bit miffed with Adrian Flux at the moment myself.

Been on the phone to them myself, my car at the moment is insured with them and I get a new car on friday this week.
The new car (not a vx) is a 2.2 diesel and I've been getting quotes around £350 elsewhere, so phoned them up to find out what refund I should get for the 3 months remaining on my policy.
The current premium was £650 as the vectra is remapped and has a few mods on it.
To my disbelief, they want and additional £52 for the remaining 3 months of the current policy.
When I questioned why it was more for a standard car, she replied that the full years premium would be £740.
She said that I could cancel and go with someone else, and went on to say that I wouldn't get any refund as my policy has run for over 3 months.

I think I'm gonna tell them where to stick their policy and just go with someone else.

With them have all my mods on and I'm 21.

Did they actually mean they won't allow it? Sounds like they've got wires crossed and just meant that the exhaust will put the price up on the policy. If you understand what I'm saying.

My last vectra they had no problems with at all and it was quite heavily modified. The exhaust wasnt a performance enhancing one so it never gave them cause for concern.

I have had more problems with my Bog Standard new GSi with Adrian Flux than i hgot with my Modded Diesel!!

I was with Flux on my Astra, and I had everything declared, including exhaust which was fitted, and that didn't even load my policy, as it's not a major performance increase, just a bit more noise

My Triumph Stag is insured through them.

I pay £150 a year, for limited mileage to 3000 miles. It's got a 3.5 Litre V8 in it, instead of the standard 3.0 Litre V8. It adds £50 to the premium

they said if it doesn't increase performance then they'll cover it at no extra charge.
but if it increases performance then it's a definite no. not even by increasing the premium.

i just think they don't like new cars or just don't like me.
