    Hi Everybody
I'm a newbie to this so here goes! I have a 2003 Vectra C, it has a standard plasctic four spoke steering wheel which is a bit worn. I'm looking to replace it. I have found a few on ebay from people breaking vectras. I was wondering if its a job I could do at home or is it an "any old garage" job or is it a job for the dealer? I was planning on using the same airbag thats on, just swapping it over to the new wheel. Which means ill have to get another four spoke wheel in order for the airbag to fit! Also, my wheel has the "round button" type radio controls, three buttons on each side of the wheel. Does this mean I have to get the same type of radio controls? I have seen a newer version of these controls with roller type controls, will that work with my cd player?

Sorry to drone on, any comments or thoughts are welcome!

    Pete

    Pete.

Your Wheel can be swapped by you, Not really that technical, As for the controls i think you will have to stick with your button ones as the roller type are different connectors, Seeing as your sticking with the 4 spoke type wheel to suit your airbag you should be able to re-use your original stereo controls.
