Well what a fantastic day we all had and those that were unable to attend missed a real treat.
At 0700, myself, mikep and Soulman met up at Junction 8 (Reigate) on the M25 and on the good advice of bobssignum, rather then get stuffed on the M3 with all the airshow traffic, we went down the A3 towards Guilford, then along the A31 on a stretch of road that's known as the Hogg's Back. There's a big transport cafe along this road and that's where we met up with bobssignum at about 0745 where we then followed Bob to Elvetham Heath, arriving just after 0800.
What a stunning little village. The show was literally on the very large village green surrounded by beautiful, almost brand new houses.
We were about the first ones there, and after a bit of juggling and AndrewTi's keen eye, we were all lined up!
The turnout from other car clubs was brilliant, with a good choice of different shops and stalls, some rides and a bouncy castle for the little un's, and of course, most important of all, a Burger Van! This is a definite must for attending in the future. Anyway, i'll let the pictures do the talking, was really great meeting you guys today. AndrewTi, Cardiff????, TonyT's tailgate!, bobssignum and his Hubble Telescope!, the GSi's and their lovely paint job, FlyingKiwi (i am not Joe Pascali's love child!!!!!), mikep for my new bucket and Soulman who is now the new stockist of Meguiars!
Cheers guys!
