    Default A Day in London

Larisa and I met up with her Daughter in London yesterday. We had a sight seeing tour then a meal in Covent Garden. Then the highlight of the trip was to the Prince of Wales Theatre to see Mamma Mia! It was a brilliant musical, far better than I expected, ( so good I managed to sit still all the way through). We had some very good seats near the front. If you get the chance to see it I would recomend you go, you will be very impressed with it.
It was a very long day but well worth it.

They would not let us take photos ot the show, the only ones we took of London were ones with us and a landmark in the background.

Saw the show about 2 years ago. Was impressed but thought the scenery was a bit strange. I was on the balcony and looked down on the show. Very funny in places but the energy of the dancers was very impressive.

    Would go again.

Did you dance in the aisles?????.....

Glad you had a nice day out!

Being an ex engineer from the "big smoke" I never actually got to see a show... it must be on my list of things to do! but i got to visit a lot of drinking establishments

Don,t know about the "one of the girls" tag. I was just ensuring I would be fed for a while by doing something Larisa wanted to do for a change, as she comes along to the Vectra meets without any moaning, so I thought I should let her have her day. Well worth it in the end. I recon

Just about every time I've been to London (driving) it's been a weekend
Sunday morning is great, can drive nice and slowly and take it all in, without the risk of holding anyone up!
A few years ago I ended up driving through central London at about 03:00
This was well spooky, most other cities are more lively than this!
