    Default Am i just being a Dell Boy?

    DeCat pipe?

    Am prety sure its just a std pipe.

    By one of the same diamiter from a hardware store in stainles steel with two clamps cut a slit out of each end and fit in place a bit of sealant and clamp it down?

    Is it me or will this not do the job?

    So whats the difference in the std pipe ind the type you can get for a few £100's?

    Never done it or seen one yousee

    Diesel will not fail the mot without a cat. So get the pipe put in and the cat binned!

    My cat was removed and the new exhaust was welded over the join. Less turbo lag and more power.

    will doing this not effect the engine managment system and therefore start all sorts of warning lights and a possible lomp mode coming on

    Not on my diesel (1.9CDTi), think it will with the petrols tho.

    There was nothing electrical attached to my exhaust or cat, just check yours. If there is nothing there then no problems.

    Just seal well and your done thats the thing.
