    Default Zenon Bulbs

    Make that Xenon btw

Are these replaced free if they blow before the 60k 3 yr period?

I ask because a colleague has just been charged £77 for one for his 56 plate Skoda.

    Default Not completely sure, but...

Normally warranty doesn't cover a lot of ancillaries like headlights and 'wear and tear' of parts so stealers will usually find a way round it. He could have an argument about it, but don't suppose it will help...

I would be amazed if they are covered. They are deemed consumables and as such are expected to die.

Of course, they have an enormous projected lifespan. In fact I have heard them described as likely to outlast the car, but they almost certainly will not be covered if they blow early

ps: Don't you ever sleep VV?

I'm on the odd hours shift, I have to be up at 7:30am some mornings and don't get to bed till 4-5am on nights I've had to work, it rags me out I can tell you, but I'm getting towards the end of it now, I think another 2 years more of it and then I can lie in because the kids will be able to take themselves off to school, I can't wait tbh, it's been the most ragged time of my life, it's what happens when you have daytime ppl living with you, they have no idea what it's like to nightshift and expect you to function as they do with limited or broken sleep, and with my job it's all against the clock as well to add some more pressure to the pot
