Talking My claying results. Wow, Wow and Wow again!!!

Having read so much about claying and the results it gives, i finally did the business to mine and to be honest, i'm amazed, over the moon etc.........

Spent 6 hours on it on Thursday. That was a wash using the 2 bucket method using a lambs wool mit, and drying with a microfibre towel. Next came the claying using Megs Quick Detailer as the lube. I was amazed at the noise the clay made, similar to sand paper, as it was removing all the contaminents from the paint. After a few passes with the clay bar all was silent and the surface was a smooth as glass.

I couldn't beleive that the car is only an 06 plate but i still used the whole clay bar!

Next i gave it a coat of Auto Glym Super Resin Polish and today spent another few hous on it giving it a coat of Poorboys EX-P Sealant. Next week i'll finish it off with a coat of Megs #16 Mirror Glaze wax.

Well here are the before and after pics guys and as always, welcome all your comments.

    Cheers, Paul.

    BEFORE SHOTS.

    THE RESULTS!

Worked great on my 06 too, I also used the same clay kit, & AG wash & AG polish, then I gave it a megs no6 glaze, and finally a coat of poorboys nattys wax.
Takes ****** ages, but not something you need to do very often, and it speeds up the waxing next time you need to wax ( as its a lot smoother/more even surface)
I was surprised that some areas got the clay filthy, while others shifted hardly anything at all, probably due to the age of the car & condition of the paintwork.Got tons off the bonnet.
