Rev Limiter on the 3.2 engine

Having never owned a V6 before my GSi I was just wondering whether
the power should normally "die off" at the end of the rev range rather than "bouncing" off a limiter like 4 pots?

If that makes sense.. I've had a few buds!

Pretty much all engines die off before it hits the limiter, Itshould still be pulling though.

Yeah it pulls but It doesn't "hit" a limiter and bounce off it like other cars ive driven, the power just stops coming half way through the red area. Just wondering if it was normal..

Never got that close on my 3.2

On my old 2.2 SRi B I hit the rev limiter in 2nd once and it was like dropping an anchor out of the window! Was one hell of a incentive to get into 3rd quickly

Lol, It loves being opened up a little bit once in a while, generally I pootle about and Im only doing short journeys at the mo so cant stretch its legs!
Just makes me wonder if its had the limiter removed or something...
