SRi's... rear windows. quick Q?

On the 2.2's are they all manual or are some electric...

or which models have rear electric...

SRI = Manual rear windows
Elite = Powered rear windows.

Other models may have electric rears too.

Designs did, then didn't then did again. GSI's have them too i think.

thats pants... wanted a 2.2 sri for the outside looks but just noticed this.

what other models would you recommend.

has to be pre face lift, and silver, and the tinted lights etc.

Yeah ive got an Sri 150 lovely on the outside, crap on the inside

Quite disapointed to be honest, theres a few bits and peices missing from my old 52 plate LS dti

Is the SRI as good as it used to be or is the VXR the new SRI

Design, Elite, GSI and Elegance trims are the only ones which have electric rear windows as standard.

I only buy cars with manual rear windows
I was trapped in a car many years ago, the electrics failed, and thankfully the rear had manual windows
I then wound that window up (as the car was upside down) and escaped
The Fire service reckoned that if the rear windows had also been electric then I would probably have burned to death inside the car

well there is that lol... yeah, love the look of the sri, but very basic inside.

the elite and things its the other way round, plain outside.

suppose there's always the eleccy mod!!! lol
