    Default programming the door locks

Is there a way to program the door locks such that they lock as you drive off/ start the car?

I have this set up for the wife. She feels safer to be honest.

The only niggle is when passengers try and open the door`s , they only unlock when the key is taken out of the ignition.

Does it still unlock from the Drivers Side door button?

Nice one cheers guys, without sounding to dense about it all!! when it says 'press the door lock button' is it referring to the button that is next to the window switches or the actual up/down one on the top of the door?
    cheers Pete

It means the one by the window switches.

Be aware though that this may or may not work on older cars - doesn't on my '03 for example - if this is your car per your profile (an '04) you may or may not be lucky depending on which version of the control modules you have.

Ok cheers mate, glad you said about that profile business as I better update that ,as it's a 2003 2.2 elegance, so might not work in that case!!
    Cheers Pete
