    Default advice

I have some ******* neighbours of mine having a party in their garden and they keep lobbing empty cans over into my garden. i've asked them plitely to stop and got told to f**k off.

Reckon i should call the police? i dont want to over react or start a neighborhood fued with them but they are trying my patience big time.

Throw the cans back mate, and then empty the contents of your dustbin in his front garden. LOL

Tricky one this mate. If you leave it they'll walk all over you, but if you kick off it could start 'Neighbours from Hell'.

Me personally - I'd phone a few mates and then throw the cans back over to their side.

I'm very tempted although theres about 10 or more there and they've been on the beer since lunchtime so it could get messy. Think it could be time to get the hose or the sprinker out

Just tell them how it is. Either it stops or you'll call the police the decision is theirs?

    Or

Wait until the morning and knock on his house when he's on his own and drag the **** round to pick them up

    Bl**dy drunkard Scots!!! LOL

If it was me, I'd pop them back over the fence - not lob them so they hit someone, but just reach over and drop them in. This is assuming that the neighbour is an immediate neigbour?

If they still persist I'd have 'friendly' words. Ask them if they would like it if people were lobbing cans into their garden. If that gets nowhere just state quite simply that you'll be setting up a video camera to record them doing it and reporting it to the police. Doesn't matter if you haven't got a camera, they won't know that.

If all else fails, get a dozen of your biggest mates around and kick seven shades of you know what out of them!!! (Disclaimer: I do not condone violence except when it is necessary!!!)

Or if you think it may get too confrontational (as they're all tanked up) just collect up all the empty cans in a bin bag tomorrow morning. Go round to the guy's house with it (on the early side so that they're suffering a bit but more sobered up) and simply hand it to him saying 'I believe these are yours!!! I didn't want them in the first place!!!'

That is exactly what I would do.

Empty the contents of your bin in his front garden in the morning, after knocking on his door to alert him to your gift. Then go round with a few burly mates or large numbers and let him know you don't take too kindly to this sort of thing. The reason i'm suggesting a bit of force is he sounds like a ****** and won't respond to a reasoned plea. I feel for you bud neighbourly disputes are a complete pain and are best avoided. I don't even know you and want come round and slap this ****. Hope all goes well, and yes the getting the police involved is the right thing to do, but may make it more messy than bouncing him off the inside walls of his house in his PJs.

deffo wait till the morning. You dont want an argument with 10 drunken people who wont see reason. In the cold light of day he may well be more apologetic. Either leave the cans for him to pick up or you'll phone the police for vandalisim etc etc, or collect them up like duncan says and take them round.

Hiya guys (this is Mrs Drinky here)

Personally, I would go with the 'next morning visit tactic' - also including plenty of noise and rattling of cans, loud music etc - just the thing for their hangovers. However I suspect Drinky would probably go for the more full on direct approach, involving beer cans being inserted into parts of body where beer cans don't really fit!

Police probably only as last resort as might make things worse - although they really need to knowthey can't take these kinda liberties - hope all goes ok mate!!

Unfortunate thing is at the moment there have been no 'offences' committed other than a breach of the peace. If they don't escalate things, maybe best to leave til the morning, but if it does get unbearably rowdy, get the Police. The Police don't even need to see them being rowdy, abusive etc. They can lock them up if they have reasonable cause to believe a breach of the peace is likely to occur if the situation is not dealt with. Tip: If possible, record the noise level. Best of luck mate.
