Anybody know what kind of job it is to fit the roof 'socket' for this?

Have picked one up with a few bits, and my 07 Estate doesn't have the catches

I knoiw it's about £100 for the stealers to do it, but was wondering if you can get the bits and what kind of job it is.

The fitting kit is about £35 on its own m8, so if stealers fit it for £100, that’s not too bad.
I have only fitted the fittings above the rear seat, there are others in the box I haven't used.
It's not too difficult, just fiddly, and scary when you are cutting the head lining !!!

Yes m8, there is indeed markings on the headlining, it's kind of recessed where you need to cut out.
I done mine with the headlining still in the car, just dropped down where I needed to, but this probably just made it fiddlier.
It’s a fair bit or work to get the whole headlining out, particularly on the estate !

I bought the net 2nd hand, but I believe on a new car it is £150, not sure what it is to buy as an aftermarket part.

    confused Vertical load retaining net

Hi, I am just about to change my Omega Estate for either a Vectra estate or a Signum.

My Omega has a vertical net and this is an accessory I really want to buy for my new car. The net can be attached just behind the rear seats or just behind the front seats when the rears are folded. Although the net and attachments can be bought for a vectra estate does anyone know if it can be fitted to either a Signum or (for that matter) a vectra hatchback?

    Any advice welcomed...

    Regards.
