Lowering Help!!

Hi All, I Have A 1.8 Ls 2002 I Am Looking To Lower The Car, Can Anyone Tell Me Can I Just Put Sxi/sri Springs Straight On? Or What Is The Best Option Without Spending A Fortune, ... Oh! I Also Have 17" Rims Which I Am Going To Put 215/50/17 Tyre's On Cheers..

Yes u can put Sxi/Sri springs on as long as they come from a 1.8 due to the springs being tailored to the weight of the car. I think all rear sxi/sri springs are the same on all models, its only the fronts that differ. Would suggest that u get some Eibachs as the VX ones are prone to breaking.
I had PI ones on my 1.8sxi Vectra C saloon and they were ok

If you want to go more than 30mm then u really should replace the dampers for shorter ones. TBH I would and did with the 30mm drop.

Eibach are the best ones which I have fitted to my 1.9cdti Vectra C Hatch, they look and feel much stronger but then they cost more than the PI ones.

Also u will need to get you wheels realigned (4 wheel alignment) but you want to leave that for a couple of weeks so they settle first.
