Vectra B GSi Re-mapping??

I am going to ask on here, to save me going over to the darkside(VVOC)...

Anyone know if you can re-map a GSi, what sort of gains can be had from them, and anyone got any reccomendations of who to get to do it???

Am looking at some tomorrow and friday and want to add a re-map into my budget when buying one.

Yes you can remap the B gsi usual places like regal courtenay sport etc etc cant remember what the gains are though. If you need a vec b based forum go for vectra sport far better imho but each to their own

what part of the uk are you from ?
I know the person that made a lot of V6 stuff for company's
if thats any good they are near london

What can be done depends on which GSi you have; 2.5 can be severely remapped and uprated but the 2.6 is reportedly far more limited as MSD had BIG problems making the 2.6 breathe properly. Much more info on the MSN Vectra Group (groups.msn.com/VAUXHALLVECTRA) and also on Vectra Sport as noted above. Problem I found with both groups was the lack of meaningful search facility - several points to the good for this site!

I found MSD most helpful when I was playing with mine.
