Default What creatures make you shudder?

I'm not scared of spiders, moths or even snakes, but I had to remove a tick from our cat last night. Yuck. I managed to get it off OK, but they're very, very unpleasant creatures.
Just made me wonder -what creatures make other folks shudder with disgust?
    Here's a typical beastie

apparently, a tick can grow back if even one of the legs remains in the animal. I think thats true?!

Hope not. My eyes aren't good enough to count the legs on a tick, but I think I got the whole of the beastie out. Then I gave it a swim in some meths, to make sure it was dead.

If the head of a tick gets left in the animal, it can cause infection so you have to be careful when you untach it from the skin.
