    Default Flexi Brake pipes

Since the 314 brake upgrade when i am on full right hand lock i get a squeak from the drivers side wheel on close examination i believe it is the brake applying it self slightly, as the flexi brake pipe seems to be very tight,

So are the 3.0 flex pipes longer or should i just unclip it from the suspension leg to give it a bit more freedom, or try and convince the bank manager i need some metal flexi`s ???

    Thanks

    Phil.

Also will have a similar problem when i do the 292`s on the rear with the brake pipes ???

if you unclip the flexi hose it might rub on the tyre and put a hole in it
so try and pull the cable a bit and move the hose as far up as you can on the caliper if that doesn't work then you might need to get longer hoses but if that is the case then get bfgoodrich hoses (metal ones)

Was wondering how you was getting on with them... As i said i'd got some flexi's fitted on the front on mine and have no issues with them. Got mine from LMF, the front fit fine but their back ones dont... Still to be resolved.. And oh btw, to save a pm, am free from the weekend after next onwards

So i take it that both the 1.9 and the 3.0 motors share the same size flexis then?

LMF have withdrawn the Vec C brake lines due the problems as you stated with the rears not fitting, so i rang Goodridge technical team and asked them the story to which they replied that Vauxhall have used two different sizes in the manufacture a 10mm and 12mm fitting, the bloke said the only way to find out which one you have is to remove the pipe from the rear and measure it, but that means bleeding the brakes and waiting 5 to 7 days for delivery as they are not on the shelf.
