Exclamation EML after fitting Caterman box

I've fitted the caterman tuning box this afternoon, and I did origially fit it upside down, as the RPM went to 1500, so I swapped it round, and now when I start the car, the Engine Management Light comes on, and then goes off. It didn't do this before I fitted the box.

I've had the box off, and it still does it, so I re-fitted, and had the battery off for 30 mins to try resetting the ECU.......still get EML on startup.

The box is working, as it pulls a hell of a lot harder. Anyone got any suggestions?

    Thanks

The eml is probably because you fitted it the wrong way round. Its saying its recorded a fault.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

Should the reset of the ECU have cleared it though? I've had the battery off for 30 minutes, or shall I leave it off for longer?

As said, the EML does go off straight away once the car ignition starts.

Just try disconnecting the battery again for 30 mins.

EDIT. 25 starts without the fault will clear the code I think.

It will do that when you fit the box the wrong way around. It can be cleared by the dealers, mine did a few times when testing different boxes. It has stored a fault but is not causing a problem, ask them to clear it if it goes in for a service or if they are decent they will do it F.O.C. for you My dealers did

Brilliant, I was a bit worried, and didn't want to "enjoy" the box to it's potential. I'll take it back to the dealers tomorrow and get them to clear it, as I've only had the car 2 days

If you take it back to them, remove the box first

I've had the battery off for an hour this morning, and that hasn't cleared the fault either. Going to give Vauxhall a ring this morning, as I've taken the box off, and get them to reset it, as there is a slightly rough idle as well, which was there when I picked the car up, and they said they would Tech2 it if it didn't go away.
