Who was that with? If I were you I could have a look on www.detailingworld.com, find someone local and get a price from them. They are all very good, lots of pros on there who do it for a living.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

Personally, I have no idea if its a good price or not. I would ask to see some of his work first, in the wrong hands it could look worse.

Have a look here for someone close to your area

I love the phrase mop ing a car I just get the image of a woman with a tabbard on with her mop bucket and a dirty mop going over a car.

Diamond brite is a synthetic sealent, check ebay you can buy the kit for a lot less than the dealers charge to apply it, were not talking £50 either.

The main problem is the trained monkey most places have working the "mop" they rub it over you paint without working the product on the mop correctly which results in tiny scratches commonly know as swirl marks, they then apply this sealent over the top of it.

Now the claims of 3 or 5 years is bull, most people will use washing up liquid to wash their car that will remove the diamnond brite. I know as when my car went in for a repair and I cmplained their work was crap they told me they had diamond brited the bumper as if that would make me feel better for paint missing on my new bumper. So I told them I didnt ask for it and he told me to remove it with fairy.

You would be better saveing the £300 and buying yourself a few of the zaino products like Z-AIO, Z2 show car polish and zaino Z8 Grand Finale Spray Seal apply a 3 coats of Z2 and you will get up to 9 months of protection. Total cost about £40
