Ok, i see it on all of their car stuff "Compare this to the leading brand" and never thought about it until today. i had run out of wax and while the missus was doing the shopping i went for a wonder (As you do!) and strangely ended up in the car section (Dont know how that happened). I normally use Turtle Wax in the pot but tesco didnt have any so i thought i would try thier stuff. The bottle i got was in black, i should of taken a picture before this post! The stuff cost £1.89 so you cant complain. So...
When i got home i washed my car as normal and polished it, got the tesco wax out and gave the car a good wax and i must say, i really was suprised with the results! See for yourself:

    From the rear

    Rear quarter

    Passenger door

    Bonnet

    Roof

    And a front shot

I was so impressed with the tesco wax as you can see it gives a really good shine! From these results i decided to see if it works as well on my wheels. Now the wheels arent in the best of condition (And i have to express not my doing!) but i had to see...

This picture doesnt do the wheels justice, they really are amazingly shiney!

So to sum up this review and in comparison to my usual Turtle Wax, Tesco really CAN compare to the leading brands and also i would use this tesco wax instead of Turtle Wax now i think the tesco stuff works just as well and for less than half the price!!

Now next time im going to buy the whole tesco kit and see how that compares to using my normal Auto Glym and wonder wheels. Im not going to review the window cleaner as me and windows arent good friends, for some reason i can never get a good finish on them!

You can quite literally see your face in it.

    Top Job.

Tescos Upholstery Foam Cleaner is quite good too.

I thought you were supposed to leave a nice layer of wax ON the car!

no mate when u wax u need to polish it off as it will just dry and solid and leave a dull haze over the car.basically aply the wax on a single panel ie; front wing, bonnet, door and then with either a polishing cloth or microfibre towel polish it off, sound daft but the paint will only take so much wax and the stuff u polish off is the excess that is why u only put a light coating of wax on at a time other wise u just waste it. if u want extra protection just put another coat on after u have done the first coat.
