Tuning Boxes?????????

Just a quickie, is there a tuning box availible for the Zafira GSI (2.0 Turbo) 05 plate and also a 3.0 Omega 200 plate?

Tuning boxes are for diesel engines. I'm sure there are chips and remaps available for these cars, but not boxes as such.

Have you got a Zafira GSi then? I have one running 260bhp and 270lb/ft, Courtenay in my eyes are the only place to go for the Z20LET turbo engines.

The zaffy is what my mates getting, off to look at 2 on friday 05 plates, any tips?

I am on my 2nd, the first was bought new in March 2002, then in March 2003 I took delivery of another new one, so I have had it for three years in March 2006.

Try to get one with full leather and roof rails, as this is a very good selling point later on. The roof mounted DVD is a bonus but not too many around and of course will reflect in the price.

My factory spec is :-

Full Leather
Roof Mounted DVD
Electronic Climate Control
Rear Parking Sensors
Roof Rails
Winter Pack

Changes I have done :-

Yokohama Perada 2 Tyres (225 40 18")

VXR Exhaust System
Zafira VXR Turbocharger
Courtenay Pre Cat Pipe
Courtenay Air Filter
Courtenay Stage 2 Rolling Road Re-map
Courtenay Air Filter in De-restricted air box
Irmscher Steering Wheel
Irmscher Hand Brake Lever

The only option is has not got is Zenon lights s these were not available at the time.

The bits that can go wrong are Air Mass Meters and coil packs, but it will have warranty anyway but chances re you will be OK.

Other than this they are a sound car to buy.

You only have a choice of Arden Blue, Black, silver or red.

Personally I would hunt out a Flame Red one, less than 30 are apparently made so very rear and very sought after.
