    There are two separate issues here:
    1. If the car has traction control fitted, but doesn't have a switch to disable it, then it should be possible to retro-fit the switch. Whether the wiring is there or not is another question...
    2. If the car does not have traction control, fitting a switch won't help you. Traction control requires a higher spec. ABS unit.

    If my memory is correct traction control is standard on all models exept the 1.8 but if it is a 1.8 sri I belive it has traction control, and the v6 engines have esp as standard too.

    I got a tech2 on loan from my favourite VX dealer and hopefully have enough time to have a go tommorrow

    Hi CDTi,

    How did you get on with the Tech2?

    It's just that I have fitted my TC switch and it does nothing

    Before I go to my dealers it would be nice to know if it can really be enabled, rather than them fobbing me off...

    Didn't get any further as I bought an off road buggy and my mind was elsewhere.

    Will be having a go again soon
