If you're thinking about the fag lighter plug in ones, then none are very quick. They are noisy and slow and probably not that accurate either.

50p is a bit high. Don't you have options for where you go? eg my local Morrisons give you a free go on the air if you spend over a certain amount. My local Asda costs 10p, but doesn't really give you long enough for it (one minute)

Double-barrel footpump and a pencil guage - that's all you need, especially if you're young and fit

How many times do you inflate your tires? Cost of rubbish slow inflator £10 or 20 goes near you. My petrol station is free and I have a digital gauge to check pressures.

I check my tyres daily, with a visual inspection and pressure check
Usually require adjustment once a week, they are usually only out by about 1 or 2 PSI

All part of the POWER check, whcih should really done before each journey or daily
    Petrol (or diesel)
    Oil (level that is)
    Water (coolant and screenwash)
Electrics (warning lights, panel lights, headlights, and indicators)
    Rubber (tyres)
