    Default Preventing Stone Chips

I heard along time ago that there are products that can be used to toughen up the paintwork enough to reduce the effects of stone chips whilst maintaining the finish. By using this and regular cleaning, waxing materials the car's looks are preserved. Anyone else heard of this?

Until now I've always had second hand high milers that are beyond repair. So i've not really taken an interest until now.

I have heard of the plastic film protection but it seems to be problematic.

I think its just as easy, and cost effective to use someone like 'chips away' to do some repairs when its necessary.

Of course plenty of wax and not driving to close to the car in front helps

I've got to get chipsaway to work on my car before the show season really kicks off and it looks like I've been sandblasted.

I love to know if there's a product that you can apply like a polish, but I'm not holding my breath.
