    confused Battery Terminals

    Polishing the car tonite and battery went flat after 1.5 hrs, had cd player on,,checked battery terminals and 1 had some time of acid flakes on it..it this correct or should i clean and put grese on it?

    It's just corrosion between the copper terminal and steel clamp. Nothing to worry about.
    Just give it a good clean with a wire brush and stick a good blob of Vaseline on it.

    is that why the battery went flat?

    is it because of ther terminals or just the cd been on to long...thought it would have lasted longer...cheers

    might be worth getting the battery cked...........mine decided to give up the day b4 PVS only had to have the cd or radio on for 10 mins then car wouldn't start .plasma ran me off to get another one ....fitted it on at pvs camp ..and the ******s had only sold me a non charged one....but luckily Jay Kay was on hand with his boost starter..

    You need a new battery mate. Should last longer than that...
