is the rear seat fully up, it won't extend until the seat is properly positioned in the upright and locked position.

I have the same problem on mine now and then.

I put my son's car seat in the middle for the MOT about a month ago. If there is any child seat there they are not allowed to test the seatbelt. They just put an advisory of "not tested as car seat present" or similar.

Doesn't solve the problem, but get's it through the MOT.

I think I read on here somewhere there was a recall for the middle rear seatbelt problem. Could be wrong though.

Fold the whole back seat forward and play with it. That's what I do when mine gets stuck and it usually works eventually.

When the back seat is fully forward it should give you more slack to play with.

It shouldn't matter anyway. I only have a booster seat which I just sat on the middle seat and that was fine for the MOT - I didn't need to touch the seatbelt or hook it up to the car seat or anything.

Not from memory of reading the posts - but see if you can search for thread on here. It's definitely been covered.

Mine was totally jammed up and had to get a replacment part from vxl.It was about £80 and then you have the headache of having to remove the seat liners to get to it!!
