The region so far.....
Thought i would do a write up on the N.I section, just a run down on the meets and news from the region was added. This will be updated after each meet.
The N.I region was originally requested by thestaffy on the 7th Jan 2007 with the members list growing and names coming forward the section was opened on 18th Feb 2007, the list at the time was:

With the region on the forum, the ideas for meets starting coming and the very first meet for the region was arranged by dervdoc for Sun 11th Mar 07 at Ranmore Head car-park Portrush. (Could not find any pics of this meet)

Things went quiet for a while for meets in the region and the next meet to take place was a Vauxhall N.I meet on 26th Aug 07, at Junction 1 Antrim, lots of old and new Vauxhalls.

The next meet was posted in the region by jonesy_ni this meet was on 7th Oct 2007, Dunluce Centre car-park, Portrush. Was not the best turn out

On the 8th Oct 2007, jonesy_ni was appointed Regional Organiser for the region.
The next meeting washeld at Halfords car-park, Bangor on 28th Oct 2007, also not a great turnout, but an improvement on the previous meeting.

On the 14th Jan 2008, fenderguitar was appointed Assistant Regional Organizer
The next meet was on the 20th January, at Tardree forest, Ballymena. Location was not the best as the car-park was tiny, and full of holes, we all moved on with yorkiebars local knowledge, and headed down to Antrim and parked up at the lough.

With the meets getting more popular, we decided to go to a N-I Vaux meet in Portrush, at Ranmore Head car-park on the 17 Feb 2008.

With Island being a popular location last time and the fact it was back down the country we decided to go back. This time we got a good feed in the visitors centre.

The next meet was something a bit different, our meet was at 7pm on the 25th May 2008 at Carrickfergus Castle, got a good turnout, and some good photos once again.

A mini meet was held on 26th July 2008, at Delamont Country Park Killyleagh, this meet was a lot of clubs together and was for Charity.

Another mini meet, mostly due to holiday season only a few members could attend, this was held on 10th August, and Crawfordsburn Country Park, Helens Bay.
Awful weather, 4 of us could attend where we had something to eat and drink at Crawfordsburn then headed to the docks area in Belfast for a couple of photos.

Sunday 28th Sept, we were invited to NI-VAUX's charity meet in Carrickfergus.
This was a huge turnout of all Vauxhalls, old and new. £1500 was raised for NI-ASBAH. Great event, very well organised by NI-VAUX, thanks for the invite!!

First meet of 2009 was at Ulster Folk and Transport museum, not a great turn out, but me and Jim had a tour of the Museum Sun 27th May

A meeting with Omega owners was arranged at Parkanaur forest park on Sun 28th June. Great turnout that day, a good day out.

Great day out, BBQ. A handy gazebo for when the rain came.
