I wish the BNP weren't racist *******s, I kinda like some of the policies they'd introduce... Failing that I guess I'll go Liberal... But I might have to think about a new car, maybe a Ford Mustang or something, really get my ****** money's worth! LOL

I wouldn't drive less because the tax is higher - that wouldn't make sense! If I'm taxed for the year then it doesn't matter how many miles you do.

As for driving less due to the higher fuel prices, not really. Lately I've probably gone out less frequently simply 'just for a drive' and a bit of a blast - but that's more to do with having a newborn than anything else! lol

I still need to drive places and go places in the course of my (self-employed) work which I'll still do, it's just gonna cost me more!

Oh yeah, I'll be doing that too! I'm glad to at least say that I've never voted for them at any point in my life so didn't vote them into power in the first place.

Who in their right mind could give a flying arse about the plight of a Polar Bear when they can't even afford to put fuel in the car, heat the house or feed the kids?

GB is too busy lining his and his cronies pockets to stop and think we're not all as stupid as he thinks.

Thankfully, Labour will be out at the next election, sadly it's three years away.

My main gripe with the fuel thing... As the price went up... So did the tax the Gov was getting as the % is fixed, they could quite easy of said... Here you go 10 - 15p off a litre tax. They STILL would of made masses out of us!

it's a double scam... they tax us on fuel, then we pay VAT on the tax.. effectively a taxed tax..
