confused Brake Pad Warning Light and Sensor

How do i go about removing the warning light from the dash after replacing the pads? I'm not bothered with fitting a new sensor but obviously don't want the warning light on.

Could you just fit a new sensor and leave it disconnected from the pad?

Disconnect the wiring plug and insert a paper clip into each terminal, then bend the paper clip over and secure with a tie wrap. Worked for mine.

Just a matter of closing the circuit to fool the car as Ste said...but being a cheap gadget why would you do this any way? Its worth to have a new sensor fitted IMO

Snip the end off and twist the wires, tape up with a bit of electrical tape.

    Default brake waring liht

I cut the wires and taped them together it didnt work on mine ,
going to try the paper clip next , as the light was going on and the pads had months of driving left on them , its a stupid idea just annother way to make you spend more money as the sensor is a dealer part ,
As if we dont spend enough keeping the car on the road .
