All by myself

MIL (Mrs Duncan's Mum) has been down from the NE for the past couple of weeks visiting/helping out etc. She came down by train initially and we would've all headed up in the car together to take her Mum back and us to have a little break up there where I'd also see my folks. But with Billing being this weekend her Mum wouldn't have come along to it and I don't think Jane was up for it even if her Mum hadn't been around - so they headed up today on the train. So that's one little 'mark' in the book I'm sure - i.e. going to Billing instead of driving them all up to the NE. Well at least I did go with them to King's Cross to help with luggage/buggies etc. and get them onto the train.

Second little 'mark' in the book I think is that it's our fifth anniversary on Saturday and guess where I'll be?! - yep, at Billing whilst she is up in the NE! Oh boy, have I got a lot of making up to do! lol I've got a surprise sorted for when I get up the NE so that'll help.

Just gone downstairs and whilst it was nice, in a way, that it's been quiet this afternoon; the very silence makes it noticeable that they aren't here - and kinda missing them already! Won't see me son, and wife, until Monday.

On the flip side, it does mean I can whack on a DVD film nice and loud, and late, this evening without worrying about having my knackers removed with a blunt spoon!

I think you are a selfish barstool myself Duncan, you should be ashamed of yourself, Jane gives you a son and all you can do is think about going to a car show with all your mates instead, it's your anniversary as well and still you will be spit and polishing with the club ppl instead of being with Jane and Cameron, of all the low down things you could do right now you've gone and done it, and all you seem worried about is your Bl00dy X-Box, well there's more to life than blowing things up and polishing cars my lad, go look in the mirror and have a darn good stare at yourself and ask yourself if you think your behaviour is justified!
