How to remove turn signal stalk

Hi,
I have a 2003 Opel Vectra C(RHD). My turn signal no stalk no longer self cancels on right turns though it works on left turns. Wanted to pull it out to see if was some sort of problem that cleaning would solve or if it was a replace only solution.

How do I remove this stalk?

I figured out how to take off the stalk -- 2 screws and then pull out. The stalk itself is non-electrical (no cruise) -- all of the switching functions seem to actually be in the "thing" that the stalk plugs into. What is that called? Any idea how expensive it will be?

CIM module - about £300 fitted!

Indicator not cancellng issues are usually related to the CIM playing up. Fairly common issue on the earlier models.

The £300 is a price based on Europe, India prices may be a lot lower. Worth checking out.

Do Opel have a dealer network in India (I haven't seen any), or do they sell through another network - I haven't seen any Vectra's either..

What area of India are you?

Unfortunately, it's more expensive here. Opel no longer operates in India (was here only 2-3 years I believe). GM decided to start selling Daewoo based Chevys instead. So dealer has to import with dealer markup and import duty = $$$.

Am in Bangalore.

I agree, there are no screws, it just PULLS out

I have just removed my stalk to clean the CC conections. Upon replacing my stalk I have found that the right indicator will not cancel unless I try and signal right, where I no longer can signal right :S
I think I've mest about with the parking setings because I did activate them before removing the stalk. What can I do??
