Had a really bad week this week my son just recovering from heart surgery and his wife 6 months into bringing our granddaughter into this world, when some ar$ehole pulls out in front of them on major road, Sons Astra SXI totally goosed both of them rushed to A&E i get a call on the 13 th tee ( where else ) my son telling me what happened, so spent the rest of Sat in St Johns, thankfully both are OK but sons wife is in a wheel chair unable to walk, OK feeling a bit better that everything is OK next day Missus and i decide to go to ASDA on the way there stops at roundabout guy with a Astra SRI runs into the back of beloveds MX 5, me being 6 ft 4 my head touches roof of MX5 as it is, then gets whacked from the back think i have bent the bars holding the soft top, now Ive got more bumps on my head than a bumpery and both got whiplash, so car is off to be repaired ( hopefully ) and courtesy car delivered to us (one the same spec as you have i was told ) got a PUG 307 oil burner, yeah they do look a bit the same depends what angle you look from if it was not for the 4 doors and the 4 seats you could never tell . Sos thats been my week so far just don't hope things come in 3 s ( siggie is locked in garage until further notice )

Oh mate what a time, what can one say other than I hope things improve for you, on the brightside if you get a claim in there's £2500 min for you waiting and the same if not more for the wife depending on what she has suffered, keep all expense receipts including fuel ones if you have to go look for a replacement car, I know it's not the same as not having had it happen, and get some physio in asap, usually after the other party insurers admit liability, you will need it and it will help, and if you aren't 100% better when they offer you, turn it down cos once you accept the money there's no going back to them later.

I hope the Son and Daugter in law are OK mate and recover quickly.
I'm 6ft4" as well and i don't fit in my mate's wife mx5 very well either but it's good fun for a blast. She has the limited edition one "Red"

    Keep that Siggy locked up

M8, no one's ever going to give you an MX-5 as a courtesy car...
