    Default Noisy Tyres ?

Had both front wheel bearings changed under warranty last week got into the car and i could still hear the noise so took it back ,they have had it again today and are insisting it is tyre noise. i must admit the rer rer noise has gone but has anyone else noticed this noise with bridgestone 225/45/18 tyres. they quoted me £484 fitted for four new ones and they would guarantee the noise would go, if this is so why do vx fit them? not changing anyway there is 6mm left on my fronts and 7mm on the back i was more worried about permanent damage than the noise, just turn the sounds up.
they have cured my notchy gearchange though it is very slick now. so overall quite happy.

I've posted a thread before on Noisy tyres. I'm running 215/55/16 ( oh my god you've not got 19"s, you poor thing) Bridgestone Turanza's and can vouch that they are Noisy. Apparantly its down to using a hard compound. They grip well, last well but are noisy, its just a trade off, wear or noise.

I've decided in the spring to bin them and try Dunlop SP01 Sport tyres.

My Toyo`s have quite a bit of road noise, almost sounds like wheel bearings on certain sufaces .

I had Turanzas before and they were much noisier and a lesser tyre all round (IMO) than the Continentals I run now.

Nothing mate its under warranty i'm afraid i don't know what they did either to be honest it feels like a sticky door thats been oiled and then goes all smooth, they did say the last time it was in that they had adjusted the cables, but it didn't feel any different then. The difference after yesterday is very noticeable
