    Default Budget alloys for 1.8Club...

Anyone know what alloys/chromes would look good on my 05 CLUB? £500 or less...

Any standard Vx ones would look good IMO, Especially on that colour.

Go for a set of 17's and they should go on without having to make any other mod's, go to 18's or 19's, may need to start looking at suspension, again IMHO (anyone else say otherwise).

As everyone else will say, a set of VXR or Snowflakes would leak a treat!

If interested, I may have a set of 17" SRI Alloys for sale soon, and also know a chap who has some SRI Turbo 18's for sale, with or without good rubber.

    PM if interested.

Good Luck in your pursuit and once you start, it is indeed a slippery slope of mod'ing!

I would say they were 16's as they look the same alloys that were on mine when i bought it,i have gone for 18's and think for a compromise between ride and noise then you can't go wrong, here's mine with them on,needs lowering i know but you get the idea...........

Ahh ok thanks for all your posts so far...When we say 16...17...18...are we talking the diameter of the tire, or the alloy itself?! Because i've just had new tires fitted and they wer 17's...

Anyone else got any pix of a CLUB with non-standard alloys?!

We mean the diamter of the wheel in inches, and so the inner diamter of the tyre mate. You've deifnitely got 16" alloys, so if you've got 17" tyres you could have a slight issue there.......................

dukeminster, I have said this before, but I must admit, I have a soft spot for the wheels above (glenboy). They have got the Audi look about them.

If you go for non Vx rims, get them!! Smart mate!
