Safe to fit and use? All they do is up the fuel pressure, making the fuel pump work harder. Some people have had no problems what so ever, others have had real nightmares.

For the cost? Caterman everytime. It basically does the same as the DTUK ones but for a lot less money.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

If superchip are offering a remap then thats always got to be better than a box.

As in real nightmares? Fuel pumps - best part of £1500, DMF's etc. However, trying to prove it was the box that caused the problem is very difficult. Its completly possible that these were sub standard parts about to fail anyway.

I also occasionally put a tuning box on my V6 CDTI (powerklick CRD red). The good thing about it is that you can take the box off and run it as standard by using the blanking plug that usually comes supplied with them. You really notice the difference when it's put back on again.

I've got it on the standard setting now (0) which apparently with the profile it has is good for 210+ bhp and 350 lbs/ft+ (watch that gearbox now!) torque.

There have been issues with the high pressure pumps, but these were supposed to be a bad batch on the face-lift cars.PDFs are also a problem on the face-lift cars.DMFs seem to be a problem on any Vectra,no matter what state of tune it's in.LOL
