    Default British holiday/break options?

    Recently got back with my Fiance after a month split. It also coincided with a 'lads' holiday lol
    We both want to go away but euro atm is awful so im thinking somehwre ein england, nice and things to do obviously weather isnt important.

    depends what you like...... theme parks, zoos, quiet walks, seaside, countryside, etc etc

    well a decent hotel
    Also bit of shopping, walks, seaside all within a closish proximity to the base hotel

    Whitby is the place!

    Walks, history, pubs, great fish n chips, lots of small interesting shops + pubs. Just down the road is York, again plenty of pubs a museum.....

    newquay in cornwall is very nice indeed m8 as i went camping there 3 years ago

    London?

    Get a hotel off teletext, off peak train with reserved seats there and back and a show in the evening. Piece of **** to get round on the tube and loads to do during the day. Believe they have some shops there too.

    edit: Seaside bit doesn't work quite so well but you could always take a boat along The Thames and pretend.
