Default Any Difference Bilstein B4 from hatch to Estate ?

Having just fitted a Second hand set of Bilstein B4's from a Hatchback to my Estate , I have now decided to ask the above question

Only reason i ask is that i now feel that the New B4's (They have covered a couple of thousand Miles) Feel softer on the rear !!

Trouble is to compare like for like again , I would have to remove one off the car..

I suppose what im asking is ?
Is the standard 1.9 Cdti Estate suspension any more Damped than a Standard suspension on a Hatchback ?

    Cheers

    Dean

The Estates are heavier, the springs are different for sure to cope with this so would have thought that the shocks would be for an Estate would be firmer also. Can you not go on to there site or LMF and compare part numbers?

Just Checked on LMF & they state the same as below

Bilstein B4 Rear Shock Absorbers - Vectra C and Signum

Suitable for the Signum and Vectra C Hatchback, Saloon and Estate without electronic suspension control. These shock absorbers are supplied individually. If you require a pair, please order two.

The springs went on the Axle weights again as per Lmf ..

I think it may just be me !! You know how your mind plays silly tricks on you !!, If it is dry tomorrow night , I think i'll whip a rear shocker off & test again side by side with an independant adjudicator

    Cheers
