chrome boot strip

hi all need some help the chrome strip on the bot lip can that be removed and refitted easy the only resone i ask is there is a small dent on mine and i want to take it off to remove the dent any help would be great

iirc mate it is held on by 1 small nut either side of the boot ????

My only comment would be to try not to bend it when you take that out...you can ruin the chrome finish I guess

mines dented slightly too and i was wondering whether too remove and try to knock the dent out or to leave well alone fearing i may make it worse. Let us know how you get on please.

think these are about £70.00 odd new so be carefull lad's
