3.2 vs 2.8T (255)

I think this is the last Vectra vs Vectra thread to complete the series.
Both in standard: -

1. Which has the better top end on the Autobahn?
2. The winner for fuel economy?
3. Most reliable?
4. Acceleration?

1. GSi3.2 has a derestricted 3.2 that does about 347mph
2. 2.8T hands down
3. Nothing in it AFAIK, both seem to be solid, reliable engines
4. From memory, the 2.8T is slightly quicker to 60, but the 3.2 has no turbo so will just keep pulling after the 2.8 starts to wither out.

So, after an hour pegging it down the motorway at top speed, the GSi would be three miles ahead...

My GSi is derestricted and i whimped out at 160mph but there was more to go. I have heard it will push on to 172mph from a very good source.

Maybe the red line has been moved. This comes on many remaps. Plus I think his is Ex police as well isnt it?

Didnt that copper get off with a ban when he was testing his police GSI on a motorway at night, wasnt it 159mph clocked so about 164 on the speedo?
