Default Dreaded spanner over oil can with 1000 at the bottom

First time i've seen this one!
The car does need a service and a new clutch. but what does this mean? I wish they set these things up as standard. I am having to wait to have the clutch and service done, pure economics and cash flow (no cash won't flow) so if this is a biggy then????????

    Any Ideas guys

spanner over oil can just means it needs an oil change...do it now and reset the indicator.. parts will cost you under £20..... Then, when you have the cash, get the clutch done..

Don't tell me the 1000 means it wants a 1000 mile service.

It was one of the first, with every thing fitted but not activated? I have never bothered to alter or stick some of the plugs in. It is in sport sus mode i.e. lower (side by side about 2" lower) need to fit switch. Extra looms were factory fitted. Yes it has been on an independant tech 2 but again never bothered to get it altered altered.
