    Default 2 litre turbo SRi

Hey all, Does anyone have any pics of the standard exhaust back box(es) that the 2.0T SRi is supposed to have come with?

I'm sure the dealer I bought mine from has fitted the wrong ones, they look and sound rubbish.

By the way... Arnold Clark (Huddersfield)... my advice is to steer well clear!

The standard pipes are quiet, does your car have the rear skirt for exh straight outlets as shown in the above post? most are tucked in behind the bumper...

Nay nay, not on SRI or GSI - visible single/twin exhaust outlet as standard. What is noticeable is that the 2 back boxes are different sizes.

in that case they are definitely the wrong ones that are on my car.

I guess that's the first purchase when funds allow.

Did I mention I hate Arnold Clark?

all sri's and gsi's had visable pipes. Do you have the cut outs for them? If you don't it sounds like you have the wrong bumper insert/bumper too. Do you have any pics?
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

Originally the 2.0T was also available on the pre-facelift in Elite and Elegance trims with a hidden exhaust pipe, and with a single visible tailpipe on the SRi, so what difference does the twin outlet with odd sized rear-boxes make. I believe the SRi moved to twin visible tailpipe as fitted now late 2003/early 2004?

    Confused.
