    Default cheeky parking !!

Neighbour is having some kind of party and without wishing to be a killjoy I think the fact that one of her guests parked with 2 wheels 2 - 3 ft onto my side lawn is a bit of a bl00dy cheek ! I wouldn't park on anyone’s lawn if I was visiting somebody.

"What should I do ?" I hear you all ask ...

No handy dead rodents to leave on the windscreen this time (a long story) so a quick look on the internet at fake parking tickets and I thought I can do my own better than that.

Quick play on Excel and came up with a fake fixed penalty notice, nice bold yellow print with black borders and some nice official sounding non – moving traffic violation notice wording … road traffic act 1972 part 3(v)ii “it is an offence for anybody other than the driver of the vehicle to remove this notice” etc.

I placed it inside a clear bag and taped it up with a couple of layers of strong clear flooring tape I have, very hard to open up without a knife. I stuck them under the wipers of 2 cars parked on my side, obviously I don’t want to risk going out and photographing as a few party goers are partaking in fags outside.

Question is this…. Funny joke or do I have too much time on my hands ?

PS I’ve tried copy & pasting the fake ticket – It looks very realistic, but it goes out of proportion and looses the background colour !

Could have done with one of these today. Parked at the local shops in a side road. Came back to find one car 6 inches from the back and another 2 feet from the front. Just managed to get out with literally inches to spare.

As regards someone parking on the lawn. This happened once to us too. I went round to the house and asked them very politely to move the car which they did. I'd rather they just asked if they could park on our drive TBH. Was also a bit miffed we hadn't been asked to the party. lol

it was a woman driver, i saw her come back a few minutes ago. Also as there are about 40 party guests drinking heavily I thought it might not be a good idea for me to go and start a fight with them.

Depending how much you like the lawn I might be tempted to dig a few MOATS around each wheel and watch the departure as I'm sure they'll be sober.........................

I might go and take a "night mode" pic of the Merc with ticket in situ if you think it will please the crowd. However if party guests see me they might have a lynching. The question is do you feel lucky punk ?

If i damage anyones car then my wifes and both daughters cars are on our drive every night, they might just take revenge. Also she looked a bit of a bruiser, im only 15 stone and not sure I could have taken on the driver without assistance if it came to rough stuff.

its not blocking its on my lawn and annoying. Anyway I risked a picture - the focus has gone - she threw the "ticket" onto the passenger seat and ******ed off. The Merc is still partly on my lawn....
