    Eek inside a power steering pump

    well i have taken the power steering apart as the bottom caseing was dented due to the crash when i got the car started the other day it was makeing a horrible noise and was getting extremely hot due to the magnet rubbing on the inside of the caseing. so i have taken the pump yo pieces to find out the its only glued to gether yes thats right glued

    so with a piece of timber and a large hammer i have knocked out the dents and going to clean of the old glue ready for re glueing back together
    here are a few pics of what it looks like, so all going well it should still work and saved my self a few quid

    my thoughts exactly mark i started it drill holes and slide hammer the dents out then i was looking inside one and relised that there was something in the way so i had a better look then noticed the glue

    got to get the holes alloy welded on monday morning and try it out in the afternoon

    if it works on the vec, who cares?.....

    that will see it mechanically 100% then?..
