I didn't get any before pictures, but imagine if you will, a Boxster that was bought as a toy, but neglected by its first owner when it came to washing and polishing. The only attention it had was from the supermarket guys or auto car wash. As a result, it had many swirls and surface scratches.
It was bought over the easter weekend, When we picked it up, I noticed it had been prepped by Ray Charles valeting company. The swirls and
scratches plain to see and really not what you'd expect from a Jag dealer. It needed PC-ing, but knew if I mentioned anything, it'd end up on the wrong end of a rotary, probably making it worse!
So, enter the Cabby, his PC and a box full of Megs. I started befroe he got here by washing it and drying off. When Mark got here, we decided a good claying was in order, which was done reasonably quickly, not a big car after all, plus it aint got a roof to worry about!
Then Mark set to it with his PC. After just a short time, the bonnet was so much better, not exactly corrected as Mark was reluctant to get too heavy handed on a young car, but the difference was already stunning. The whole car took about an hour to polish up, the results were fantastic. Metalflake showing in the sun and the swirls pretty much history.
After a coat of Collonite, it was just a few little bits of trim to clean up and job done. Thoroughly enjoyed myself, think Cabby did too, I know my Bro in law is properly chuffed with the results. If I see him with a sponge and chamois near it...
Anyway, a few piccies.
Big, big thanks to Cabby. Top bloke.
