How longs a piece of string.

The best wax for money is probably Vic's concours or any of the collinite brand IMO Vic's gives a great finish for a wax and collinite will last for months.

I prefer soft wax. But you seem to use less hard wax. I may be wrong but I think you can put hard wax on better just using your hands. (too messy for me though).
I agree with mark1319 with "his" choice of wax,s. I have nearly finished my Pot of Victoria Concours Wax, it has built up a brilliant shine on my motor. I will put Colinite 915 or 476 on for the winter.
I put the above wax,s on top of a coat or two of CG Jetseal 109 sealent ( though you don,t need to put anything on top of the sealent).

I like both I use a hard wax as a base for endurance and then layer on top a soft wax for the warm glow it seems to add.

hard waxes I apply by applicator and go on very thin, soft I do it by hand as often as I can, I like the feel of rubbing the wax over the paint but I do find it can go on a little thick. I have got 4 coats out of a 30ml sample pot of dodo juice supernatral and still have enough for another 2 coats in the pot applying by hand. (2 coats on an astra and 2 coats on a vectra)
