    Smile K&n Filter Fitted.

Well my K&N Airfilter arrived and its fitted along with doing the airbox mod at the same time, and although i do not notice much of a change in power the responsiveness of the car is far better.
I could not believe how full af 5hit the old filter was,so a good clean out and all is good.
i am still thinking about blanking the EGR as spatch has do and explained on this thread http://forum.vectra-c.com/showthread.php?t=51953,but after doing what i have done it seams to have eliminated any flat spots

I might suggest a master reset so the computers "adjust" to the "new" intake

Do not forget to clean it. I just never got around to it and mine was on for 15 months before before I took it off. Took me 3 goes to get all the cr*p out of it!! I think K&N suggest 6 months between cleaning.

    Cheers,

i can really only comment on my experiance with the K&N on the 3.0 V6,and it is worth doing.
from what i here ask most of the guys on here and they will tell you its well worth doing.Ditch p has a 1.9cdti i believe and he thinks it is well worth doin.
I ordered mine of ebay here is the part number you need K&N33-2848 ,you should be paying about £40 for one.
GET IT BOUGHT AND DONE ,you know it makes sense

It's not the power that changes with a K&N filter and the Airbox bod, it's how it's delivered. Well worth doing.
